Adam Metzendorf is the Sr. Director of Business Operations for the Phoenix
Mercury and Valley Suns. He is a proud graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley
School of Business. Besides being a huge Hoosier fan, he believes in a mantra
he coined as; Hoosiers Helpinp Hoosiers; and is an advisory board member for
the business schools Sports Industry Workshop. In that capacity, he travels back
to Bloomington each year as a guest lecturer and serves as a mentor to young
students looking to pursue a career in sports business.

At his core, the Jewish value that Adam identifies with most is the pursuit of
Tikkun Olam. Living in Scottsdale since 2018, he considers the Valley his home
and values making our community a better place. Adam is a board member at
the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Phoenix, a Arizona Steering
Committee Member and National Leadership Councilmember or the Jewish
Democratic Council of America, founder of the Valley Jewish Sports
Professionals, and an inaugural honoree of the Phoenix Jewish News 18 under
50. In addition to his participation on boards, he also is a mentor in the Phoenix
Suns and Mercury mentorship program and serves as an overnight host for
Family Promise at Temple Solel.

When Adam is not volunteering or at a basketball game, you can find him biking,
hiking, enjoying his favorite bars and restaurants, spending time with his family,
and spoiling his dog/best friend, Falkor, who is a 10-year-old rescue that he
adopted in 2023. Adam is very close with his family and of his accomplishments,
he is most proud to call himself a brother to his best friend, David who is a
college basketball coach. Adam can’t wait to spend time with his nephew, David's
son who is due in early May 2026. Adam aspires to have a family of his own and
plans for them to be active members of our Solel family when that day comes!
