Laura Miller was born and raised in Michigan. She and her husband Ron moved permanently to
Scottsdale about 16 years ago. They’ve been married for 45 years and have a blended family of
four sons and a daughter. They have eight grandchildren that are a blessing and the love of
their lives. Not only are they members of Temple Solel, but they remain members of Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan where they were married and their kids have had their life
cycle events. Laura served as the Ritual Chair for 5 years there and was on the Board of
Trustees. She also tutored Bar and Bat Mitzvah students for several years there. She’s been on
the Caring Community committee at Solel. Laura is a Registered Dietitian and her husband is a
Dentist. They are both retired. Judaism is and always will be a very important part of her life
whether attending Shabbat services almost every Friday evening, High Holy Day services, and
celebrating holidays with family and volunteering.
