Madelaine Berg joined Temple Solel shortly after relocating to Arizona from New York 13 years
ago, attracted by the temple’s sense of welcome and inclusion. She is a member of the
Membership and Ritual Committees and served as chair of the Membership Committee’s Solel
Mates program. Before coming to Arizona, Madelaine was a member of Larchmont Temple’s
(Larchmont, NY) Membership Committee and its S2K cohort. She is a graduate of Brooklyn
College and Brooklyn Law School and practiced as an environmental lawyer. Madelaine is
currently on the Board of Phoenix Jewish Free Loan and on the Israel Independence Experience
Task Force of the Jewish National Fund.
