Cantorial Soloist Todd Herzog

Evoto

Todd Herzog is an accomplished Jewish cantor, singer-songwriter, composer, and spiritual music leader whose work blends contemporary sound with deep Jewish soul. A longtime presence in the national Jewish music scene, Todd has released multiple albums and performed at
synagogues, retreats, and festivals across the country, where his original music has inspired connection, reflection, and communal joy.

Currently a rabbinical student at the Academy for Jewish Religion (AJR), Todd integrates spiritual leadership with musical expression, bringing a thoughtful, soulful approach to Jewish prayer and teaching. His compositions are used in congregations nationwide and are known for
their emotional resonance and accessibility.

Todd’s musical journey includes creative collaborations with leading Jewish artists and roots in the vibrant a cappella community of Tufts University. He has brought that same spirit of creativity, joy, and depth to Temple Solel for the past 18 years, infusing services, programs, and
special events with heart, authenticity, and spiritual connection. He and his wife, Kerry, share their lives with a blended family of four kids, two cats, and two dogs (one of whom thinks he’s a goat).
