We will be trailing a new form of parent communication this year called Raker Remarks. After each religious school session, our teachers will send us a brief overview of what was discussed in class that Sunday, which we will then compile into a spreadsheet and share with the students’ families the following week. We’ve gone with the spreadsheet format as it’s concise, easy to read, and buildable as you will be able to see the data over the course of the year. Beginning after the second session, we will highlight the line that corresponds with the most recent session for easy tracking. We will try to share the spreadsheet directly with you each week, but there may be technical difficulties that may require us to send you the link via email. Either way you’ll get it! You may also receive emails from some of our teachers in addition to the Raker Remarks, which is up to each teacher’s discretion. Feel free to email us if you have any questions. This spreadsheet will be a great way for you to stay up-to-date on what your child(ren) is learning at Raker and a way for you to continue the discussions at home!
