Eliana Givre
Eliana Givre, TSTY Advisor
My name is Eliana Givre and I am a Jr. High Teacher at New Way Academy. I was born and raised on Long Island, New York and made my way to Arizona, after graduating from James Madison University (in Virginia). I studied international affairs in Spanish, but always knew I wanted to be a teacher. When I moved to Arizona, I attended Grand Canyon University where I received my Masters in Elementary Education (K-8). I have been teaching for five years and I absolutely love what I do! Some of my favorite things to do are hiking, exploring new places, and spending time with my pup. I am so excited to work with TSTY at Solel and can’t wait for a wonderful year with our youth group.
Caring Community
Caring Community
Working in conjunction with Rabbi Stiel, Temple Solel’s active Caring Community provides support for our congregants in times of sorrow and in moments of joy. Interfaith Outreach
Interfaith Outreach
Temple Solel’s Interfaith Outreach programming serves to welcome interfaith couples, Jews by Choice, and those contemplating conversion. Led by Rabbi Linder and guided by other interfaith congregants, we create a feeling of comfort and belonging within the Jewish community. As a synagogue, we are committed to serving all members of our community by enriching their lives through the enduring values of Judaism.
Examples of our programming include Jewish Grandparenting of Interfaith Grandchildren, Secrets of the Sanctuary, Learner’s Minyan, the December Dilemma, and visiting speakers, such as Andrea King discussing her book, If I’m Jewish and You’re Christian, What Are the Kids?
